Application for two Incinerators
at Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork - Reference Number – 04.PA0010
Applicant - Indaver Ireland
As you will be aware An Bord Pleanala have indicated
that they will refuse the municipal waste incinerator and are considering
granting planning for the toxic waste incinerator
This is despite the fact that the Bord say the
developers application was “deficient” so one would wonder
how can a decision to grant planning be made when vital information
is missing!
(See CHASE press release 22nd Jan.)
This is not a final decision but an indication
of what the Bord is thinking. Therefore it is essential that you write
to the Bord to let them know of your shock and anger at how this application
is being dealt with.
Thank you to all those who have contributed again
to the campaign as these voluntary donations allow us to continue.
It is important that the community continues to show its strength
of opposition to this development. It is our efforts to date and the
support of the community that have resulted in the refusal of one
incinerator and it will be our continued efforts that will stop the
second incinerator from getting planning permission.
