Minister questions location of incinerator

A cabinet minister has broken rank and questioned the planned location of a toxic waste incinerator in Co Cork.

Defence Minister Willie O'Dea has said he is "personally uncomfortable" about the proposed facility being built at Ringaskiddy.

The remarks were made during a visit to a naval base and the new National Maritime College both of which overlook the site.
